What services do you offer?
Karly Sorensen Counseling offers professional clinical mental health counseling services to couples, individuals, and adolescents. Her clients have the option of in-person sessions or telehealth sessions.
Do you take insurance?
While we do not accept insurance, we are happy to provide a receipt of service so that you can file for reimbursement from your insurance provider. You will need to check with your insurance provider about eligibility for reimbursement.
Where are you located?
We are located at Village Walk in Mount Pleasant, SC at 1041 Johnnie Dodds Blvd. Unit 16B. Our discreet location is located right off Anna Knapp Blvd. We also offer telehealth sessions for your convenience.
Is there anyone you will not see as a client?
Yes, there are certain life circumstances and mental health concerns that we do not have the specialized skillset to provide the most effective treatment. At this time, we are not qualified to treat children under 12, clients experiencing psychosis, severe addictions, and clients who are actively suicidal.
What if I am experiencing a mental health emergency?
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, a medical emergency, or feel unsafe, please take the following immediate actions:
1) Call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
2) Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide Crisis Lifeline.
3) Text HOME to 741741 to connect with the Crisis Text Line.
